Creating a PDF in Adobe Acrobat

Adobe Acrobat Writer *

  1. From any application that supports printing to Acrobat PDFWriter File / Print.
  2. Choose Acrobat PDFWriter as the printer.
  3. Click the Properties button for Acrobat PDFWriter
  4. Click on the Page Setup Tab The page size should be set to the dimensions of your creative (ex. 8.5 x 5.5 for large postcard)
  5. Choose the page orientation. This should be landscape for postcards and portrait for flyers and letters.
  6. Margins should be .25
  7. Click the Font Embedding tab. Make sure that all of the fonts that are used in the document are listed in the "Always Embed List" if not, choose it from the list of available fonts on the left and click Add to add it to the Always Embed List
  8. Click OK to accept the changes made to the Properties and choose OK to print.
  9. You will be asked where to save the file. Choose a location on your computer's hard drive and choose OK. This will be the file that you upload to MailnetExpress.
* You must have the full version of Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer to use the PDF Writing feature.
